District grants fund small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in your community and communities abroad.
Each district chooses which activities it will fund with these grants.

You can use district grants to fund a variety of district and club projects and activities, including:

• Humanitarian projects, including service travel and disaster recovery efforts
• Scholarships for any level, length of time, location, or area of study
• Youth programs, including Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotaract, and Interact
• Vocational training teams, which are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local professionals about their field or to learn more about it themselves

There is plenty of freedom to customize your service projects.

2018-2019 DISTRICT GRANTS DEADLINE MOVED TO JUNE 14, 2018
Deadline for 2018-2019 District Grants has been moved to June 14, 2018.

2018-2019 DISTRICT GRANTS

2018-2019 District 7530 Grant Forms are now available.

If your Club is interested in applying for District Grants for the 2018-2019 Rotary year, review the 2018-2019 District 7530 Terms and Conditions, submit a 2018-2019 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by your Club’s current President and President-Elect, and send to District Grants Committee Chair, James Culberson by June 14, 2018.

The District Grants Committee will meet during December to review the Grant applications.  Clubs selected to receive Grants will be notified as early as possible, and the Grant funding will be awarded as soon as possible.

A Grant Final Report will be due to District Grants Chair James Culberson within 30 days of the completion of the Grant activity.

All Final Grant Reports for 2017-2018 grants must be in by June 30, 2018.

Remember that each Club receiving a District Grant agrees that it or its members (or any combination thereof) must agree to donate at least 50% of the value of the District Grant to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund – SHARE by June 1, 2019.

2018-2019 DISTRICT GRANTS TRAINING SEMINAR

The District 7530 District Grants Training Seminar will be held  April 14, 2018 at the Pete Dye Golf Course in Bridgeport, WV. Renee Reiling, with The Rotary Foundation, will be meeting leader. The seminar is scheduled 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

This training is mandatory for any Club hoping to receive a District Grant during the 2018-2019 Rotary year.
At least one Club member must attend this training for a Club to become qualified to receive a District Grant.

The seminar will be held in conjunction with the Ellis Vest Memorial member-guest golf tournament on the Pete Dye Course. Cost is $130 per player. Play begins at 11 a.m. This is a scramble event, however, if teams would like to play their own shots, they can use the low score of the foursome as their team score. Bos lunches will be provided to all golfers at the carts. A trophy and awards reception will be held after play is finished.
