Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) – May 11-13, 2018
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is an intensive training program for high school freshmen. It is a combination of seminars, interactive meetings and hands-on service projects.
RYLAs are designed for young adults with proven leadership ability and a commitment to community service. RYLA will help you discover your potential and develop the skills needed to be a leader in your community, school and everyday life.
Through RYLA, you can:
- Develop leadership skills and character
- Gain exposure to a variety of issues and people
- Meet active community leaders
- Learn valuable information and career skills
All the while, you’ll also have fun, build friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Interested?
RYLA participants are usually nominated by local Rotary Clubs, which often cover all expenses associated with the program.
The 2018 District 7530 RYLA will be held May 10-12 at WVU Jackson’s Mill, Jane Lew, West Virginia.
